HOUSTON, TX – Mar. 10, 2018 – On Saturday, March 10, Enaxis partnered with non-profit, CompUDopt to host a computer adoption event benefiting over 250 families who were affected by Hurricane Harvey. In addition to volunteering at the computer adoption event, Enaxis donated gently used office equipment to support the non-profit.
CompUDopt provides technology access and education to underserved children across Greater Houston. The organization believes that every child deserves access to the tools they need to be successful.
CompUDopt was founded in 2007 by Jonathan Osha, with the belief that every child deserves equal access to education and opportunity. CompUDopt programs serve to eliminate limited access to computers by placing them directly in the homes of applicants, as well as fostering and supporting education for the youth of Texas. Each of CompUDopt’s programs facilitate growth in technical and digital literacy skills, which are increasingly essential for success in education. Additionally, students gain an understanding of the importance of education and the breadth of the impact technology has across industries including science, engineering, and many others.
